I would just drill it out to 1.5 mm if you plan to keep the stock turbo, 2.5 mm if hou go for a bushed core.

The banjo threads into the block just in front of the passenger front drive shaft.

Finally getting around to doing this today. Do I need to prime the turbo afterwards?

You may blow the oil seals out or damage the bearings if you go too big on the stock setup. How much it will take? Who knows. Just clean it for now.

The banjo bolts into the block right behind the aircon pump and in front of the passenger driveshaft. It can be a pain to get out and watch you dont cross thread it when it goes back in.

Hi everyone ,

Very new to this forum.....first post.

My name is Paul and I reside across the ditch in Hamilton New Zealand.Ive just purchased a 2001 250t rs four and are lovin it.Lots of great info on this site and I have been just about reading non stop every chance I can get.

What I would like to do is help the engine breath a little easier and it looks like the best way to go about this is to get rid of the standard dump pipe. To this end reading up here Scot is the man to see regarding this.

So Scott if you read this can you please tell me if you still are able to supply the turbo dump pipes or not as I would be very interested to purchase one.

Best regards Paul
