This is what a good mate of mine says, (he has one tho)

Hitman said its a must. (He seems to know his stuff, very happy with SAFCII tune he did.)

me confused....

getting walbro as part of this upgrade.

well, I run 300rwkw.

Walboro pumps aren't good for that or more, so I dropped the Nismo Fuel pump in (took about 6 minutes) and already have Nismo 555cc injectiors.

Stock FPR is fin up to 370rwkw as R31nismoid said, but if you really must go to another FPR, do it when you're looking for beyond 350rwkw and get a nismo.

If you think you need one for under 350rwkw on any setup, then you're kidding yourself.

Depends on the setup.

The adj fpr is VERY usefull if you have an SAFC and wish to squeeze a little more out of the stock ecu.

I run a nismo fpr as I suspected the std one was playing up + come dyno time if I require a little more out of the injectors its easy enough to do.

Interesting enough the very occasional random lean/surge I was getting has completely disappeared since I fitted the nismo fpr and had it tuned up again.

hey mate, some of these ppl are set in their ways so its a bit hard for a balanced discussion.

i cant talk about sard

but i have a nismo fpr, and it works a treat.

it is definitely a must man, that is an ADJUSTABLE item

its just a piece of mind thing. if my tuner want to increase or decrease pressure, they can

Ok

Im going with the Nismo Reg and the Walbro pump from Slide.

Having the reg as insurance is fine by me.

Injectors would be nice but the $$ are enought as is.

$1250 Power FC

$340ish Pump & Reg

$500 Hitman tune.

$900 Injector is just to much as far as the misses thinks...... :D

Thanks for everyone thoughts.

+1 for the sard fuel reg, bought mine today so i havent got an opinion on its performance just yet. Because my car is in bits at the moment. But i havent heard anything bad about them

it amazes me the amount of people that think you can just install a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and get instant power increase

Seriously, are people that stupid?

Its a NEED thing. If you need to increase your fuel pressure for some stupid reason, then you get one.

But other than that, you don't need one, and installing one for no reason will make absolutely no difference.

would of thought if you had a 32 and a stock reg possibly 18 years old it would be very cheap insurance to know it is working 100%

just my 2c

an the reason I brought a nismo

however the sard may be a better choice if you plan to run a fuel pressure gauge as it has ports to attach the sensor straight to the reg
