I use the Hitman too and he recommends the FPR, big believer in fact but that would also depend on what exactly you're trying to achieve.

If it's a tad over 200rwkws (say 220-230) with a small upgrade turbo on an R33, hks2530, then the FPR will give the squirters enough to get you over the line.

It does give you more fuel, but you need a tune to go with it of course and someone who knows how they behave at different rev levels.

The Hitman sounds very experienced in this area and i WOULD trust him if that's what he recommends.

But,.....if you plan to go higher later, just get the injectors and forget the FPR cause you're going to have to anyway.

I asked him ages ago about installing/tuning my HKS2535 on the R33.

Told him i was considering S15 injectors.

He emailed me saying forget it, they aren't much bigger, save the cash and use the FPR.

Now that may be true but the choice was still mine.

I wanted to switch injectors for the sake of doing it. I wanted to learn how and i did.

Also i think it's a more reliable fuel solution (could be wrong)

And, there wasn't as much info on the S15's and i wanted to find out for myself.

Turns out they're great and think they could handle up to 270+ rwkws. If that was your goal and they were to fall short by a few cc's, then i'd add the FPR and be set :(

So....think about future goals.

It this is it for your tuning days, by all means use the FPR like Matt says and i'm sure he'll do wonders with it.

If mid 200's, looking for 300 is your goal, seriously consider the upgrade to injectors now.

I use a SARD FPR and bought it for 2 reasons only:

1. it gives me a very easy place to install the pressure sensor for my fuel pressure gauge which is important to me.

2. it looks cool.

I highly doubt it does much at all for me in any other aspect. and bumping up rail pressure to get more fuel flow I don't think is a good idea. more stress on pump, injectors and seals is not desirable. just buy correctly sized injectors.
