Is it true?? a skyline stolen or broken in2 everday??? speaking to my mechanic after a recent service this is what he told me.. is it true??

any thoughts anyone??

You're generalising buddy... if you group up and count every single type of car... the probability of at least one around the whole of Australia would be quite moderate - so yes, any particular make of car can be stolen once a day.

True, i wanted to hear about other peoples experiences, certainly situations so i can avoid them, i have had an old car been broken into and it sucks, had the GTR for a month, don't want to put into a situ if it doesnt have to be..i have heard from more then just my mechanic in recent times skylines are commonly targeted, maybe it is becaue skylines usually are decked out, and carry good parts, i have heard of GTR's in particular being stolen and stripped..

Fair enough matey... yeah, well Skylines, WRXs and VW GTI's are all amongst the most vandlised cars... well, on that list anyways... so yeah.... just take good care of it... always park it somewhere that has good lighting... can be visible or is relevant close to where you work etc.... and don't be cheap on alarms, get a good one...

thats all you can do.. if they want to steal it... they will buddy... prevention is better than cure so they say.
