hi guys i was out giving my car a bit of a hard time on w/e and after an 8000rpm shift motor started making a tapping noise...

Sounds kinda like as if it is a tappet but motor doesn't have them so any advise would be greatly appreciated to find the problem

8000rpm isnt that bad for an rb26 anyway hahah i take mine to 9k every now and then and always hits 8k

near silent on idle and builds in noise as free reved and whilst under no load when driving under load it is quite again

check ur injectors that make a loud/ish tapping noise!

when i first brought my car they where quiet, after using 98ron and injector clean every service noticed they got noisy!!

mechanic told me if there taping away, there working :D
