I may need to stand corrected, it seems there might be a few uber generous dyno's in Sydney. Adam's 'seat of the pants' dyno says LOW 200's which I must say is a little disappointing - different car though i guess wouldnt help the comparison

I will not claim responsibility :P I did take the car to THREE dyno's which is why I was fairly confident on the figures...

Oh yeah i forgot to include excuses hmm let me see - boost leak, ummm... bad fuel...hot night... oh and it is Wednesday (it is faster on other days)

Cheers Adam

well at least the turbo is nice, looking forward to cams + injectors.

Heath, just as an idea, Pulse's dyno gave me 216kW the first time and 232.9kW the second time on a stock R33 turbo.

I thought this a little enthusiastic compared to the typical figures, and Unique Autosports' dyno about a week later gave 205.5kW which is about right.

Damn i'd love one of those Garrett units though. It looks similar to a HKS 2535/GTRS in terms of boost threshold/power.

Cheers mate,

I expect day to day variation - was just confident because I took it to several places, on several occasions and still got fairly high numbers.

So maybe 240? would be a reasonable compromise.

It's all good mate. Rear housing looks to be a decent size so the only restriction will be the compressor housing. We didn't pull anything off so no idea what wheels are in there. 1 bar of boost at 3000rpm now.

I forgot to mention that you don't need to change the fpr now or later as long as you get the injectors. I reckon with the cams and injectors you might just hit that 270rwkw and you will be a very happy camper.

Cheers mate - I know FPR doesnt need changing - but it was cheap, looks nicer than the stock one and doesnt hurt.

Hopefully i can score a nice number , at least it will be responsive and streetable - might see even more response with the cams.
