R33 Boost Spiking

Hey guys

My mate is having an issue with his R33 4door GTST. Currently he is running a stock turbo, i/c, etc etc on a RB25. He has a 3inch dump with full 3inch exhaust.

He is curious why it isnt spiking above 7psi? With the exhaust being 3inch should he get more than 7psi without a boost controller/bleed valve?

His mate has the same car with same setup but with a bolt-on front mount and his goes to 11psi without a boost controller/bleed valve.. just curious why his isn't spiking..

should go to about 9 with a full 3"....not sure why its not though

Its a stock dump but its been high-flowed..

His boost gauge is reading right because its a brand new GREDDY boost gauge, installed by Kensi Perf.

the actual dump is 3 inchs but it had ridges in it they have been grinded out so in a sense its been high flowed.

it also has no cat conveter in the car i dont no whether thats going to make a differance.
