took the car to get rego today. rta says its a random selection, i have to go to a inspection place and soonest booking is 2weeks away...

now is the purpose of this to do a number check like vin and engine number matching, to make sure the car hasnt been stolen or changed around b4 import? or to check the whole car over?

the car has a zaust, and non standard rims and standard fmic str8 from jap.

the car has been freshly imported and has never been registered in aus b4.
