*Bluprint has fond memories of Leshy turning up 2 years ago and leaving his car there, then coming back near the end of the show after going home for a nap

Hey, I was really really hung over that day, give me a break.

Also my car is not a skyline, sorry to burst the 30 car bubble.

With the Count just there and ppl having non Skylines in the list, I now have the tune "one of these things is not like the others...." from Playschool in my head ;)

:(

I've heard of people putting there 32 headlights in the oven, to seperate the glass from the plastic backing to modify the lights etc, don't think you could do it with the indicators though.

4 weeks Till Marques in the park btw.

Yeah, I've also heard either oven or a heat gun to seperate the glass from the lighting assembly, then I guess you just glue it all back together when you're done

The soarer ones were the same deal. Don't do what my mate did and forget :P

Thanks guys,

I'll have a go with a heat gun first, I dont really like the idea of putting $200+ indicators in the oven...

bullet32 go and buy some Meguiars PlaticX (http://www.meguiars.com/?clear-plastic-care/PlastX-Clear-Plastic-Cleaner-Polish) and use that. I use it. Works wonders... just make sure as soon as you ploish it on POLISH IT OFF ,, it tends to stay on otherwise.

For once I'm prepared! All booked in with Details FX :P

hmm went to them last year and was not impressed. They did great work on "what you can see" i.e. main panels.. but they did not do the "nooks and crannys" .. eg when you open your boot the side of the boot wing,, the engine bay was a dissapointment too.. just my 2c

the best place to go is the place down the back of the shell servo in Woden. They do an awesome job, best detaillling ive ever seen. Though my car (and prob many other liners) can make it down their steep driveway (due to low front bars) :(

Are you sure your not talking of details fx in your second post they would be in that general area ??? I found the work they did on my skyline and forester was unreal on the surface but i agree they could have paid a little closer attention to some of the nooks and cranny's

    • Hey everyone!!  I've noticed that whenever I do my oil changes, after putting 4L in, the oil level sits at the top mark in the dipstick. This is after letting the old oil drain for a very long time too! I've checked the oil level daily for the past few mornings. It happens every time and it's confusing because all the threads say that it should take about 4.7L (With some just adding the full 5L) My next thought is to figure out if the dipstick I have is correct so could someone please tell me the length of the RB25DET engine oil dipstick?  I've checked images of some of the genuine dipsticks, but none of them have the length in it. https://justjap.com/products/genuine-nissan-engine-oil-level-dipstick-fits-nissan-r34-skyline-c34-stagea-c35-laurel-y34-cedric-gloria-rb25de-t-neo?currency=AUD&srsltid=AfmBOortQXofgmiHVRKuIaiKuygL4k0Ewp68c3isGZk0vvKOJ7Yqf3iB However.... the engraving on the genuine ones say 05002 while mine says AA000. This makes me believe that maybe I have a wrong dipstick? I just want to confirm before I buy a new one. The car is a fresh import from Japan so I don't have details of the previous owner to ask him. Thanks in advance 🙏🏾
    • Sport. I didn’t rebleed it cause I just removed the slave and left connected.    I will change line and slave and see how it goes.
    • Oh and how is the rattle when foot is on the clutch ?
    • Did you get the sport or track ? From what the documentation says the uniclutch has a small amount of movement to disengage.  So your story of tricky pedal setup seems common.    Hopefully you got it bled up too, as the bite point moving around is usually either plates wearing in or air in the line.
