Although most people usually say the opposite, when i fitted my rear strut brace to my S13 I found it made a heap more difference than the front one. The rear felt heaps tighter and the car felt a lot better when cornering fast. I'm pretty sure both my braces are from Justjap.

lol

strut brace do f**k all! even 3 point ones like my tomei , dont do much at all

got any facts on this? i see big tuning companies that have $800 strut braces fitted.

There appears to be a great deal of support for their benefits, but I'm happy to hear if they don't work cos it saves me buying one - but at least back it up with some dodgy article or something.

Are you saying there's no point in fitting a strut tower brace? That they do nothing to help improve handling?

I'm not trying to be a jerk, serious question. I'm just wanting to know your reasons.

When I fitted mine, it made quite a noticeable difference to handling. I'm sure others would say the same.

yep, when i fitted mine i found a reasonable reduction in mid corner understeer, felt a lot better cornering.

you cant see the mounting point in the picture, but where it mounts in the middle is only done by a bolt which is about 5mm big ;) Plus after installing the sturt brace i notice no real difference to the way the car feel, it may help about 2% but i dont think there is any noticeable gain. money better spent on a set of swaybars.
