yeah i got a new lower control arm when i got it fixed and also got the wheels aligned but still pulls a bit not sure why i totaly replaced all of the suspension on that side so maybe its the steering rack didnt check that

Not the whole rack, the rack end and tie rod end. Could be a slight bend in there.

Also what castor bushes do you have? Are they adjustable? Are you 100% sure they are fitted correctly?

Tom, have you not got new tyres yet?

No, These ones aren't too bad, there is a little bit of inside wear on the right front but thats it.

I am scouting Nengun and contemplating whether to get 4 wheels in 1 hit and suffer a $200+ import tax or just 2 now and order 2 in a few weeks to save on the tax. If I order all 4 now I will have them in time for the Xmas cruise...... Dilema.

i know that my tie rod ends are leaking could that have anything to do with it? i think i just have stock castor bushes so i dont think that they are adjustable but am not sure

Would probably need to have a look at it some time. Something is not right :D

yeah there is always something not right with cars im struggling at the moment to find funds for insurance, stupid insurance companies *shakes fist*

      Wiring high beams in IC7 for R32 GTR

      Made a bit of a discovery, but while I was cruising, I randomly decided to test to see if it worked and it showed up on my IC7. The entire time I tested it before, I never thought to turn the ignition on. I only tested it with head lights turned on but with the ignition off. Huge oversight on my end. I’m a dummy. I know.

      RB30DET timing belt tensioner relocation query

      G'day all, I have drilled and tapped the hole for the relocation of the timing belt tensioner. That was straight forward. I'm unsure if I need to also put another hole for the smaller stud that the spring behind the tensioner catches on (this is how it seems to work in its original spot). Or do you not use the spring behind it and just torque it down? Thanks in advance, I did a search but couldn't find anything related and it doesn't mention it in the rb30det sau guide.

      Hi All,  just thought I would provide an update as I know smooth (Matt) was on this forum from 2003.    my brother Matthew passed away end of may 2024 at the age of 41 from liver failure. I am not sure how many of his original team krazy friends are still on here or active but thought it reasonable to let the forum know.    if you have any photos or pictures it would be great if you could share them.    it took me a while to work out he was active on here.    thanks so much
