Ok i have a series 2 1997 r33 gts

just imported so all fresh now just to get it up to scratch.

one problem i encountered is

> When i have night headlights on only the right side works and one one bulb is on the middle 1...

>but when i put highbeams on..the right side goes out and the left inside 1 comes on

so its lyk flcikering to different lights..they both dont turn on at the same time for night driving and switching highbeams is like switching between left and right side lights??

hope you get this hahaah

any advice?????

Hey mate. I think thats the way its mean to work. My headlights do the same thing. When i have it on low beams i only get the two outter lights lit. (think its the outter ones). THen when you go to high beam the outter lights turn off and the inner ones turn on. I am sure that they are not mean to both be on at the same time.

Hope that helps.

From looking at the pictures:

1. Your passenger side lo-beam bulb is blown

2. Your drivers side hi-beam bulb is blown

Secondly what jrocket says is right.

The lo-beams and hi-beams work independently of each other.

When the hi-beams are on, low beams are off.

you could just change your passenger high beam bulb with the low beam

that is if you don't mind not having high beam at all

altho it is quite troublesome if the headlights still have all the screws intact.

which means you'd have to take off the front bar 1st and then the grill

b4 you can take the headlights off

You can change the hi-beam/low-beam bulbs (also parker) without taking the headlight off.
