I have the same problems as well.. but only happens during the night or when it's cold n give that extra PSI...

Sometimes it doesn't even miss but when it does it's shocking

Changed my Plug to Iridiums n got them gapped to 0.65 was Ok then when i drove it @ night when cold it missed Bad. Changed the Fuel filter also recently didn't really help and now in the process of getting a new Oxygen sensor.

I can get some Splitfires on my nextpay or just get my PowerFC in and get it tuned...

What do u guys reckon??? i don't really wanna get it tuned n find out my Coilpacks r stuffed or just get it tuned anyway to c if it will fix it

Car is Series 2 R33, FMIC, 3" Turbo Back, Pod, 10-11psi stock turbo.

well if you're worried your coilpacks are the cause, silicone them up and see if that helps any - if not, then you know they're not the issue and its time to tune.

Siliconed up my Coilpacks still missfiring. Also recently installed my Bosch 910 Fuel Pump inline wif my stock pump as the lift pump.

I was wondering if siliconing up the coilpacks even though it doesn't have problems will lessen in performance????

Gonna get my PowerFC tuned shortly but i'm having problem controllin Boost. my Turbotech manual boost controller is always running 10-11psi whether all the way in or out. I tried hookin it up to the stock controller n it's still about the same.

you check your plugs? gap em to 8 or even 7

They're gapped @ 0.65mm on Iridium Denso :-)

they are crap plugs. Anyone that buys these plugs get suck in sooo bad. They probably cost about $0.50 to make.

Get some BKR7E copper NGK plugs. I run them, and I run 300rwkw. They NEVER miss a beat.

Cost you less than $20.

i'm gonna try these. but is 7 too much of a cold plug?

Would 6 be better for just over 200rwkw ?

    • I'll tell her I put in a new air filter on it, which, it would have anyway with the ITB's In the end she isn't to fussed, she spends lots of money on hair, nails, make-up and all the other "required" beauty products that women use, plus I grease the wheels with shiny gifts and holidays wherever and whenever I can She once questioned my car spending "budget", but after itemising everything she spends on herself, and what I spend on her, and the fact that I don't care if she does or doesn't wear make-up and fancy pants perfume, or requires new outfits for every wedding, funeral or anything else she deems worthy, and I'm quite happy to go "real" camping, instead of staying in hotels or jaunts on cruise ships, she decided not to press the subject on how I spend funds, and has never asked "how much did that cost" again, so a win to me And how often can you say you really get a win with the fairer sex? She is a good woman, and in the big picture, I'm really lucky.....that she hasn't killed me yet
    • What will you do when the Minister of War and Finance says the intake noises are too loud?
    • Will the clear coat dissolve the ink tho?? I thought about clear vinyl tape too. Thinking what to do haha. The one I have now is cracked in 1 spot, otherwise mint. Plus the MINES one is much thicker plastic material so its not flimsy at all.
    • No. Go a different colour, and just trim it at an edge line. Even manufacturers do different panels different colours etc.
    • I see no real downsides to ITB's, apart from the initial cost of my drive in drive out lifestyle, the "upsides" is they sound cool and would add lots of smiles I am willing to pay to play for the extra smiles I've spent the morning googling and youtubing the BBR ITB's, a "little" extra power and throttle response, but alot more dort, and really, I'm only really in it for the dort Who knows, after all this money is spent I might even make 150kwatw....LOL
