Stagea - A Suitable Tow Car?

Hmm - I was looking at Stagea's on the weekend as a possible good comfortable daily with the intention of towing the GTR from time to time.

Anyone have any idea what the cost of a tow pack is and the tow rating on said item?

Also anyone done much towing with GT forester's? They have $1300kg with 75kg downforce. The 2.5lt XT has $1400kg.

Is yours a drive by wire or a cable pull setup.

the car has a cable throttle but the cruise control has an electric actuator that connects to a cable. There are also vacuum operated cruise controls but I was warned to stay away from them.

so it's an electric actuator that pulls on a cable? Is this mounted under the bonnet or at the pedal? Did you have any trouble because it's not a commone aussie car?

exactly, it is under the bonnet just behind the abs module - there are pics in another thread in here somewhere. It was the first stagea they had done but they had done plenty of 33s and 34s so it was pretty straightfoward - ecu matched r34 gtt pin outs for speed signal
