Guest sky32

Hi all. I'm just about to purchase an R32 1993 Skyline Gtst in a week or two. I've been to a few places but I just want to know how can I tell if the engine is in good condition.

By good condition I mean all cylinders firing, nothing major that won't blow a hole in my pocket to fix, that sort of thing. Or am I better off getting it inspected by NRMA? Any help appreciated.

Forgot one thing. At what RPM does the turbo kick in? Let's say I'm going 110km/h on the freeway. Will the turbo be working continuously?

no. it kicks in at around 2800rpm if stock and if you are just cruising it shouldn't be spooling.

..and always check a prospective car with NRMA or a trusted mechanic to be safe. a hundred bucks could save you thousands
