Hks Gt2835 Pro S Rear Housing!

Hi,

Ive got a hks gt2835 pros turbo, in the rear housing there is alittle hole which im guessing is to install an ext temp sender. my question is it as simple as just removing it ? as i try to do it today but i was unable to remove it

I'm guessing you have the nipple piece left screwed in there.

I had one too, just unscrewed it then plugged it up with another similar threaded bolt from Pirtek, $2-3 i think.

lol! you can fit an allen key in there but it wont move i have a feeling it may have been seal in there as it wont move, and im just rounding it

if you have rounded the grub screw your in trouble.

get a small pin punch or similar and give the grub screw a hit inside the bottom of the hex to try and shock it loose.

make sure your allen key is not rounded also.

If all else fails go to a tool shop and buy an extractor set and drill a hole in the grubscrew. then use the extractor to unscrew it.

also be sure to soak it in wd 40 or similar before attempting to remove any screw/ bolt that has been exposed to high temps.

Could you gently/but forcfully tap a flat head screwdriver in there then unscrew it?

maybe but i dont like the idea, sounds like you will end up with a big mess.

Probably ruin your screwdriver in the process aswell.
