gidday all.

i was driving along the other day and my clutch fork dropped out (manual r32 gts-t skyline 89 model). i just got the gear box off then and found that the mushroom part of the lever bolt (geussing thats what its called) has snapped off. my question is where do i find a new one? ill put some pics up tomorrow if needed. any help appreciated.

i havent tried anywhere yet, i just assumed it might be a difficult part to source so thought id ask here first.

cheers. james.

some f the guys were just discussing this the other day in another thread:

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t186490.html

the little mushroom thing is called a release pivot (the release fork pivots on it). its really easy to source and only costs about $20-$30 for a new one from nissan. some of us go for strengthened ones from nismo, but if you've got a mild clutch then its overkill.

Jump in that thread I linked to above, one of the guys might actually have figured out how to take it out without dropping the gearbox like the rest of us :)

thanks mate. well i might go a nismo one, but we shall see. i want my car up and running for the weekend and im also SICK of riding and catching the train to work.

much appreciated.
