I have a GTST Series 2 R33.

At the moment i have a pod that is lightly boxed. i also have a front mount intercooler.

Now there is a hole in the bottom under the pod where the standered intercooler piping used to run. I was thinking of running a decent size stainless steel pipe from the to the front bar and trumpet the end out....

A. would this work and give the pod enough air when i fully inclose it?

and

B. Who would i get to do that kind of work for me? Would an exhaust place bend it for me etc?

Has anyone done this to there 33 series 2?

Im in adelaide to.

Do you have a pic of it on ur car?

nah sorry bud. Its sits inside the bumper and sits right behind one of the holes.

Got a slight photo of it in the engine bay. I've got a stocking over it as I found it routed a lot of dust into the pod. I found this out when I took my pod off one day to find a nasty black patch of dust on it underneath.

I had some Pvc pipe lying around cut 2 parts of its one to go in the hole and the second to point out 2wards to draw in the hair put em into a 90o bend also pvc and just the standard intercooler pipin hole i just filed out with a round file mint 2 match the pipe lil smaller so the pipe sits in tight ,and a touch of silicon on the edge to give it a lil bit of extra strength.

Did the stocking help? One would think if you route more air to it, more dust will get on it :)

yeah i think so. Its pretty fine mesh. I'm yet to check the pod again though. It can't have made it worse.

Well its taking air from just above the road, so its bound to route some dust in
