Aac Valve

today i bought an AAC valve, from the wreckers (those bastards are soo expensive) n e ways... got it and all... bolted her on and plugged her in,,.. now am i missing sumthin??..but it made zero difference..car still wont idle when cold... anyhelpers??... its a r33 93... bastard thing

What was your problem in the first place? Now its not idling when cold? Please elaborate.

sorry guys...ummm.... my tuner at RE Customs told me that the car wont idle when cold unless u hold your foot on the accelerator because the AAC valve (idle solidnoid i think) was broken.... so went and bought another and plugged it in...but no difference.. is it the AAC valve that controls the idle when cold... or am i wrong??... so basically..when the car is cold..if u tick it over i will start... but as the revs drop from the start it will just konk out...

IACV if its to do with cold start problems, absolute bitch to get to but theres a tutorial somewhere (to find it follow the bottom hose from the AAC until you find a little box with 4 screws)
