Hey guys, as topic suggest, how are we to drive using twin plates clutches, what are the do's and dont's, and when im in gear and not under load, sometimes my clutch makes a really wierd rattling noise, is this normal???, this generally only occurs when the gear is straining, ie the gear its in is not really holding, and i should be dropping the gear down one

Havnt you already got a few threads on this?

Clutch in and rattle is ok

Yes if the car is struggling (eg up a hill) you should change down a gear

Here are some do's:

Do drop it at 8000rpm - because you can

And the donts:

Dont ride it, either engage or disengage the clutch

Dont stress over the rattle
