R32 Dash Light

hey i have a r32 gtst , when im driving most of the time this light goes on at the bottom of the dash. its a red light with a picture that looks like a square with steam coming off the top of it...

At first i thought it was the 02 snsor but i just replaced that so now im like wtf and its starting 2 sketch me out.

Hopefully its not like the radiator or something. But yeah its on most of the time but it randomly turns on and off at some points - maybe its just an electrical problem?

Exhaust temp? Only thing I can think of at the moment.

Cat temp light, mine does it all the time, it's nothing to worry about, it has no effect on the ECU or anything.

I think a fair few people who have this problem seem to have a gutted/hollowed out cat.

Yep its the cat overheat light. If you can get under your car you will see the sensor in the cat, its probably stuffed.

oh yeh dude because I have rust in my exhaust so that would be it, sweet as cheers guys
