I have a just jap cooling pro 40mm Alloy radiator and it is great, the early one had problems that they have fixed it all up the welds are solid and although not a show car straight weld finish but more than satisfactory.

I was very sceptical in using one of the cooling pro items but my performance mechanic has been using them for a while with Nissans and with track cars and they have not given him a problem yet so he recommended me to upgrade to it also.

I have had mine in my R32 GTR for 5 months and no problems at all in traffic perfect , foot to the floor which is mostly how i drive my car and still no probs so i would say go for it they are good and also come with a 1 warranty as well.

I also have a very close friend who has just made 385RwKw with a just jap 100mm thick tube and fin FMIC and i saw the build quality and once again very surprised how well they are constructed for the money and the fact it flowed that power and still nowhere near in efficient says that they are worth considering.

I am not trying to sell them but giving you solid facts based on what i have seen, hope this helps.

Thanks for the info, I actually went down and had a look at some of the Cooling Pro stuff the other day, I think beer baron is right, their stuff is good for the price but there is a HUGE difference in build quality, I took a mate with me who is a boiler maker and he had a good look at them, he said they were ok but the wealds were a bit ????? THe jap stuff is much better quality but at 3 times the price, however will probably last longer too, I will be sticking to the jap stuff just for peace of mind (intercooler and oil cooler), however I will be buying the cooling pro radiator, will see how it goes. Thanks for all the feedback!

the main thing I would suggest when buying the chinese radiators is give it a really good flushing out before fitment. sometmes there is a bit of swarf or a few loose/broken fins in there. once you've done that it should be sweet.

Im using quite a few Just Jap / Cooling pro parts in my car and find that they are excellent for the price I paid...

I have an R32 Gtst with an RB25DET conversion with a bit over 230rwkw and I have a pretty heavy foot.

Im using the Cooling pro 40mm triple core alloy radiator and its never been a problem, the only issue I had was when I put an A'pexi cap on it and it leaked a bit, but I bent the little tabs under a bit and its been fine ever since.

I used to use the Just Jap oil cooler kit aswell but found that I didnt need it, so I'll only use it for track use these days.

My Power FC is usually set to monitor water temp and I have it displayed on the dash and I have never seen the temp go over 100 degrees standing still, it sits on about 81 - 86 while driving... And thats without an engine fan (single 14" thermo installed).

I also use the R32 300x600x75mm bar and plate intercooler kit from Just Jap and it has been perfect from day one, my inlet temps are pretty low and boost response is pretty good considering I have a bigger turbo than stock (readings taken while on the dyno).

Ive also got a lot of friends using the same intercoolers and between us we have never had an issue.

I think that if you want to get every last inch of power out of your car then buy the big brand name stuff but if its just for a bit of fun and the occasional track day the Just Jap stuff is GOOD value...
