lol, i have a quote for insurance at almost $7000, so since i still live with my parents they have agreed to register the car under there name so i could get it insured for $850 a year. The only problem is if i crash it, i will have to pay a shitload extra :) but i dont plan to crash such an awesome car !

1. R32 and R34 are different. which are you getting?

2. dont get it. you're still pubeless and you couldnt handle the power

3. learn the difference between "there" and "their"

i sincerely doubt you will get a gtr.

using money from your trustfund to buy a $80k+ car as your first car is the stupidest thing I have heard, and your parents letting you do it is even funnier.

why dont you wait until your like 25, and on a rating 1 or something, start with a cheaper car so you can get some driving experience, and cheaper insurance as well as easier rating. you gotta taste the sour before you can appreciate the sweet :(

but good luck to you none the less, your gonna need it :)

^ i concur.

actually, i'd rather put that money to better use. perhaps pay for future uni fees, or just save it for a rainy day. or a house!

but you cant drive a house. unless its a caravan type RV. :)

God, i think some of the old boys here have forgotten what it's like to be 17. No matter what anyone tells you, you don't listen. If you've got your heart set on it and it makes you happy then go for it. If he's telling the truth, then nobody here knows what his situation is.

But, still, if you asked me, i'd say buy something with a little less power to start with. At 18 and with no real serious driving experience, even a simple r32 gts-t can get you into a lot of trouble if you don't know how to handle the power.

yup me being 17 we dont listen to the old folk we figure things out for ourself either the easy way (buyin a cheap car) or the hard way (buyin the gtr and gettin killed by the insurance) let him learn if he wants to blow $90k on a car and im betting over $5k on insurance a year let him he'll learn
