afternoon all, as it says above some of my radiator and other coolent lines are turning white ever since my last

coolent change but the thing is i use geuine nissan concentrate everytime and make suse the ratio is always correct.

If someone can shed some light on this i would be much appreciative.

maybe check for leaks. you could have a small leak which is spraying on the other lines, when it dries it leaves a white residue..

thats all i could think of :S

i thought the same aswell but it is in several different spots and doesnt look like water drops at all it looks more patchy

if thats any sort of description. A mate said it might be getting too hot but the pfc hc says that the water temp is all good.

Sometimes if you use cleaning chemicals (mainly the wrong ones) on the rubber to clean inside the engine bay it leeches in with the heat (reactions speed up) and if it hasnt been cleaned off properly it discolors it and slowly destroys/breaks down the rubber. Same with plastics.

But if its happening at all the hoses then it sounds like you havent put the hose clamps back on correctly. Use a tiny socket rather than a screwdriver.
