ey all,

this may sound stupid...but noticed sumtime ago that my accelerator pedal had about an inch of dead spot at the start.. when i had my stock plenum put back on from a custom (JUNK) one... the throttle wire is to long now... so when i put my foot down... i dont get full throttle!!... i cant belive it took me this long to relise!!!... anyway..is there a way to shorten the wire??... or do i buy a new one??... n e help would be appreciated...cheers

Take a look at where the throttle cable is bolted to a bracket at the engine end & you'll see a threaded section with a nut either side of the bracket. Back one nut off & take up the slack with the other but don't take it all up, leave a few mm so you don't hang the throttle slightly open. I'm sure you'll work it out.........
