fancy engine swap Phunkey....they are cheap to build, engine owes me $5000 without the manifold. boys tuned a 6litre a month ago, camshaft, valvesprings and tune = 310kw.

Sounds awesome Stu, pity my clubbie doesn't sound like that!

Your car makes me re-think my deision to stay with my SR and not just put an LS in there, would have cost me a hell of a lot less that's for sure, and would probably end up being more reliable too. Oh, and I'd probably be able to drive it by now!

Mine has LS1 edit, stock sized-custom exhaust and a K&N panel filter and makes 233rwkw's... very easy power indeed.

i am very happy so far. I will be extactic after the SAU trackday if everything holds together and the car performs well.

so far its just a noisy (mind you good noisy) V8 that makes good power. still might be better suited for drifting, god forbid ive yoused the D word.

That is simply mint.... you should be proud Stu >_<

pretty cheap too, $4k will buy you a complete LS2 6.0l brand new. Has alternator, water pump, balancer, steer pump compressor, and coils, throttle body everything.

Since this build has started ive started buying street machine mag again..and keep noticing those brand spanking LS2 Crate motors or Fords DOHC 5.0L lol
