Should be in issue 10 or so. Baron, my photographers aren't amateurs. They have manners and use them. No way they would ever use private property without permission just as they didn't in this case. It is funny how quickly people forget though. I reckon Stu kept that particular dealership in shiny new Pulsars with all the import parts he's bought over the years. :P

I think you'll find they are shiny new TIIDA's.. not pulsars.. lol..

excellent car.

Will buy issue 10 if it's in there.

I think you will find that the dealer principal rang Nissan Aust to make sure it was okay and a certain dept started asking questions.

Oh an import hey,,,,NO

Oh in an Import magazine,,,NO

Oh it's got what under the bonnet,,,definately NO WAY.

Whilst the dealer network are lets say "mostly happy" supplying parts for private imports,,,the manufacturers are not.

Neil.

All I can say is,

It was the best sounding car on the day!

It was also the cleanest car in the morning!!!

Stu - when I was flagging at the flip flop, your car gave me blood.... :(

thanks Chris, yeh roy, by lap 3 of the first session i was already bored of the track and decided to check the infield out between turns 1 & 2. that one was painless. the next time i did the same thing but this time i went in side-ways and damaged the front bar. I thought id make sure the job was done correctly by going off after turn 2 and before the bridge. but thats all lol. Car was very light in the arse on braking, mid corner, corner exit, excelleration etc, basically it tried to swap ends on me every where. i was even loose on the straight in 4th at one stage, but after getting some good advice on lines through turn 1 i was more confident into turn 2 which i was most shit scared of. mechanically it was great, had an oil leak in the tranny in first couple of sessions but sorted that out. just more track time and some adjustments to get it to behave and it wont be as much of a handfull. but it was cool knowing i could squeeze the gas and light the tyres up. just had to make sure it was pointing straight. all in all i was very happy seeing i had never driven the car before and or driven OP.

So Stuart have we converted you to going around corners now. Or are you still interested in straight lines?.

I think I said it way to many times,,,but your car sounds so fat coming down the straight.

I loved it mate.

Neil.

As others have already said this was probably my fav car of the day and seeing as though you were in my group all I got to see of it was either you overtaking me down the straight or you spinning off multiple times infront of me at turn 1-2. Actually from memory you gave me a wave when I gave you room coming out of the last corner onto the main straight and then I waved you back as you spun off at turn 2 and I went back past :(

Why people bother with RB's when you can throw a v8 in a skyline is beyond me.

most definately Neil, you know you have done an honest days driving when your hairs all wet and so is your undershirt.

5-15 minute sessions is more driving than a drag racer would see in a year.

Thought about it after we got home but i should have let you have a steer. I dont think anyone else would fit in the seat.

Next time.

I destroyed a bearing at OP GP on Friday...

I'm currently weighing up an LS2 in there instead of rebuilding the RB30 bottom end...

Stu: Got any sources for getting crate LS2s?
