Hi, new here, was hoping someone has done a rb25 into a r31 conversion

I have a rb25neo non-turbo with a tiptronic auto

Want to upgrade my aussie r31 ti,

Does anyone know if the engine mounts would fit?

Also, would the gearbox fit, I was hoping I wouldn't have to change the tailshaft.

Any other info on this conversion would also help heaps,

For instance, radiator hosing, afm, wiring and where to get the ecu and the transmition computer

Thanking all of you in advance

motor will bolt straight in, not 100% on the gearbox, but it should be very close if it doesnt bolt stright up.

I dont know about the radiator or tailshaft spline.

I'm thinkin that an NA rb25 wouldnt be much of an upgrade to an rb30 if any.

but overall, it would be an easy conversion.

cheers, Jason

Rb25det has a round engine mount and the rest of the rbs are square/rectangular dont know if this will affect fitting but your gearbox crossmember mounts will be slightly out so you will have to modify your original crossmember and as for the tailshaft all you have to do is have an r33 yoke fitted to the front of the tailshaft so it will go into the gearbox and it will bolt straight up (this is what i had to do to mine but its a 5sp 33 box not 100% about an auto)

Hope this helps

it will bolt stright in, if you have an auto r31, tail shaft is perfect

use the rb25de mounting bracket with the r31 engine mount...

i put an auto r33 rb25det into my GXE.. PM me and i'll give you the details of the bloke who did the wiring for mine..

he might be anoyed cause you stole his forum name LOL

you send him your engine loom and the loom from the r31 and he will send you back one that will mate your engine to the car. you use the r31 plug at the AFM for power to the ECU & injectors for the rb25.

he has a HR31 with the NEO rb25det running the Triptronic auto box and the steering wheel controls...
