Ca18det Injectors Into Rb20det

Hey Guys,

Has anyone used CA18DET (370cc) injectors in an RB20 to replace the standard 270cc injectors?

Ive heard the impedence is different, however some injector listings have RB20, CA18, GTR injectors listed as being the same.

Any help would be appreciated, as im looking for an injector solution for around 230rwkw from my RB20 with a HKS2530, with a DrDrift ECU.

they may be the same physical shape and go straight in but impedance is difference. rb20 high, ca18 and gtr are low.

People are telling me GTR injectors are straight fit, so if CA18DET and GTR are the same then surely i can replace the RB20 with CA18DET will work?

yeah, direct fit but different impedance. if you install gtr injectors on a rb20 you need to install the resistor pack aswell other wise you will fry your ecu.

will be ok if you are running an aftermarket ecu or ar going to get a remap.
