got my car back today (r32 gtst with rb25det neo) and as you accelarate in low revs it stutters a bit...almost like its gasping for fuel and then as you give it a bit more on the gas it corrects itself after about 3500revs and revs smooth all the way to the top of the rev range. No its not a miss fire as ive had a miss b4 and this is different. car is pretty highly modded. just got splitfires, and have had gtr pump, 630cc injectors and microtech for ages. Car just had a full tune + remap and it was done by one of the best tuners in aus. not sure whats going on? can anyone shed some light before I call him in the morning?

thanks

Luke

grab some CO contact cleaner from repco, clean the airflow meter wire. only do it if the car hasnt been run in atleast 12hrs

check for boost leaks.

fixed a mates 32 that way.

obviously no responsibility is taken if you damage the AFM or car in anyway.

Whats been done to it between tuning and getting it back?

because a light load misfire is pretty bloody obvious and your tuner should have mentioned something.

He must have done some light load tuning, and because the ecu is map based a vacuum leak doesn't really affect it if it was tuned with it.

so, it's either a vacuum leak thats happened after the tune, a sticky injector maybe, or the tune is up to shit.
