I think so, or a poor earth from bat>car or to starter. If you want to check if your battery is really dying, grab a battery tester from supercheap ~$8 i think, theyre really handy and you'll keep it forever

Just wondering if a dying battery can affect the cold start of a motor vehicle. Such as low rpm stumble when starting thanks :D

Yeah can do, not 100% sure why but have seen it hundreds of times before. If you want to do a basic test you can perform a "voltage drop" test by measuring (with a multi-metre) what the voltage at the battery drops to while you are cranking the motor. Most healthy batteries will hold 10v or more, if yours is dropping below 9v then it is definately shot.
