Hey

Recently had an incident with a suicidal cat, which left my front bar with a big crack through it.

Its not to major and it is repairable but I am just wondering if anyone can recommend what to use to repair it, in terms of glue, putty, plastic welding etc

I can do it my self, but just want it done once, not have to go back and forth trying to get it perfect.

On the other hand, if anyone can recommend a well priced workshop in Melbourne to get it repaired at, that might also be helpful.

Thanks,

Abu

i recomend getting it plastic welded. fibreglass, glue, and putty will all just crack.... get it done once and get it done right. there are some really good plastic welders around now.

we repaired my old man's ceffy's factory bumper using a special compound made for repairing plastic bumpers that would cause normal bog/filler to crack when bent. can't remember the name of it, but its sorta like bog, but very pliable. His bumper wasn't cracked so we didn't have to plastic weld it, but basically you plastic weld, then use this flexible compound to fill, and then prep and paint like normal metal/fibreglass.
