Hey Hippy

I got my timing belt changed when I first got my car. Not sure about the how much it cost in labour but the belt cost $95. I had the free labour because the guy were changing my water pump at the same time and that was under my warranty.

Cheers

nah ya thinkin of the wrong belts..timing belts are more "internally" related, you should do them every 100k at most

the 3 belts at the front are power steering pump, alternator and air con, basically if they break one of them will stop workin...cost ya $50 to get the belts and change em all, but u gotta make sure u get the right tension otherwise they will sqeak and bug the shite outta ya

its easy as piss.

theres tension nut and a locking nut. ovbiously you undo the locking nut then loosen the nut and the belt become loose, keep doing it until you are able to take the belt off. this is for the engine accesories belts eg alternator aircon.

the TIMING BELT cant be seen its inside the timing belt cover.
