Hks Cam Gears Not Fitting On Tomie Cams

hey guys really need some help pls.

engine is s1 rb25det in r33

i have tomei pon cams and have purchased a pair of hks duralium cam gears.

now the exhaust side fits fine BUT FOR f*kS SAKE the inlet side gear doesnt fit onto the cam.

im stuck, and after buyin these i must use em.

why wouldnt it fit, what do i need to buy to make em fit.

the hks gears are ment to compatible for all rbs WHY ISNT IT!!!

and no i havent bought 2 exhaust gears, they distinctly say IN and EX seperately

why are you removing the VCT of the intake cam?

if you look closer at the compatibility details for the gears it will say something like "rb25 ex only" the inlet only fits rb20's and 26's. the exhaust fits 20,25 and 26.

if you really want to fit them that bad you can go and buy a new inlet cam to suit an rb20.

I'm also wondering why you are removing the VCT. Not a worthwhile mod if you are still running small drop in cams.

i should have added the engine is rb25/30

with vct welded up (so it wont be in use)

i am using the standard inlet sprocket for now,

if anyone selling hks inlet cam gear to suit rb25 i will buy.

prefer the duralium ones to match my exhaust

also will sell my inlet gear brand newie
