NEED TO BE GONE ASAP SO I CAN BUY WHEELS THAT FIT!

Extra Info:

Rare as. For those of you who don't know do-luck they make body kits for a lot of the jap import cars, and like their kits, their wheels are HOT. Arguably these are the only set in Australia cause they sure as hell don't sell them here and I've searched the net to see if anyone else owns them and I haven't found any yet (correct me if i'm wrong). I just had them imported from Japan (was the only set on yahoo jp.) It was an incredibly lucky find but ALAS, they don't fit on my car (too wide and I can't roll guards...) and I am not a happy chappy, at all. ;)

There is a tiny gutter rash on one of the rears on the front lip, and a little bit on the rear lip. THAT IS IT for damage. Will cost you like $50 (not that you can notice) pics included anyway. You can't really notice it. Sure they need cleaning, but they came like that. They just need a good scrub and polish to get all the brake dust off. I started on them but eh, too much effort ;) too lazy :)

http://www.do-luck-usa.com/wheels.html - (CHECK YOUR OFFSETS AND SUCH HERE)

They are $775 U.S EACH + shipping costs you'd be looking at close to 5 grand to get a set.

Comes with all wheel nuts (1.25) and nut lock set (genuine do-luck), all centre caps and valves.

Came off the Red S14

^^^ Im wrong, so will the definetly fit an R33 GT-R and look alright as in line up with the guards and not stick in or to much out? Oh if you were saying he was wrong as in thats the only set in Aus then ur right cause i have seen another set on a black supra in melbourne look hot as!

Cheers dudes. No the model is called 'double six'. Ya they are rare as wheels, I searched the net and couldn't find anything in Aus but yer it's cool someone else has got a set :D. They were the only set on Yahoo JP at the time tho, and i searched again the other day and there is no sets. They would be sweet on a 33. Not 100% sure what they would fit, but your certainly welcome to come down and try them. I could prob drop the price slightly if I really need too, cause I need a set of wheels of my own. Looking @ importing Racing Harts for my Celsior.

So if you want them for almost half the price, come try them :(

I'm @ Beaudesert :) which is only an hour drive from most major places in South East QLD hehe. feel free to call as long as it's not sunday morning/night or Monday or Thursday, any other times are fine :)

haha Bugger. Feel like a road trip? lol. Hmmm I don't know dude. I mean if you buy them I would mail them I guess (Never really mailed a set of wheels before), but knowing if they fit or not is another thing, which I certainly got the short end of the stick on that one.

I mean you could do like I did; buy and if they don't fit sell them again. You'll have no dramas selling them I wouldn't think. But you gotta find someone who can run 9.5 wheels on the fronts, which is probably the biggest barrier selling these. :)

ya i'm not 100% sure what the go is with the offsets. They have more dish at the rear so they should sit out towards the guards.

The only thing that is wierd is that they have a smaller offset on front than rear, usually it's the other way round, but they do have less dish on the front and a big plate thingo on the inside to clear big brakes. I guess it's just trial and error...

Not sure if its just the picture, but looking at this pic of the 4 wheels in a row, the first 2 wheels on the far left don't look as wide as the last two? (The last two wheels sit a bit taller) Are you sure they are 9.5 all round? Coz they seem to fit nice n snug on the S14 fronts, so makes me wonder maybe the fronts are 8.5?

The difference you see is the offset and desing of the rear wheel to have more dish.

This should answer your question:

post-28739-1191722862_thumb.jpg

the wheels are stored at my mates house atm, due to someone having my address and not rockin up, so just a precaution :)

that mate is also interested in the wheels tho. He owns an EB Falcon. They will suit said EB very nicely. If I get the $$ off him i'm not gonna be that worried about it. but PLEASE it'd be great if this went on a NISSAN! or at least a jap car! lol :(

just out of principle. :)

Just had an offer of $2600 incl if i post them. Thinking about takin his offer. If anyone is eyeing these off you better make a better offer and get in quick or they're gone.

    • Hi All, I'm based in Sydney and want to get hold of 4 stock R34 GTT wheel caps as pictured. Cheers
    • Haha im flattered! Although my poor boat is collecting dust in the garage, as it hasn’t been driven in like 6 months. I forgot the to put the trickle charger on too, so the battery is likely toast now.. I have the frenchys kit. It is fantastic. My only gripe was that the hard lines from the firewall needed some tweaking, however, this was mainly due to my specific turbo and dump combo. The weight and size packaging is much nicer too. I think I have some pics on my build thread somewhere.. my justification for the kit was more “why not” I had gone to the trouble to modernise just about every other part of the car..
    • Actually, ethanol has probably never been cheaper, on a tax free basis, than petrol. With fuel excise being what it is, and only being levied on the hydocarbon component, not the ethanol component, and ethanol for non-drinking purposes not being subject to liquor excise - E85 was cheaper, but not because the combustible liquid itself was particularly cheaper.
    • Maybe? If changing the cat to a higher flowing cat, caused the turbo to spool more quickly, and those areas of the map had not been tuned for the boost level it is now seeing, then yes you would need a re-tune. How dangerous it is running without the updated tune would depend on how far out the tune is with the now higher boost levels, how the engine protection has been setup, is the ECU compensating with a wideband sensor, is the boost control closed loop blah blah million other things... But yeah having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if changing out the cat for a high flow, in say a full 3" exhaust, made no noticeable difference at all.
    • Ah yep. I asked a auto electrician about getting a cheap rebuilt alternator vs a new one. He also said he used to it back in the day but it ended up costing similar to what a new one would and recommended getting a new one,.
