hey there,

ahhh.... only recently i have discovered that i share a rather big interest in drift.. however i have no idea where to go to begin... where i mean.. are there clubs or something along these lines... want to be able to legally do it... ( sounds kinda weird but)... yeah.. n e helpers.... im from melbourne... thatnx guys

you could head down VICDrift's events they're pretty regular... in fact there's one tomorrow I think at winton.

Go to the drift skills day November 4th (link above)

I went to the first one held 2 months ago and it was awesome. THere's no better place to start and it the most fun I've had in my car. It's well organised and you learn from the best.

THen there's also Drift nights at Calder the last Wednesday of every month.

Nothing to be nervous about its perfectly safe and everyone's there to learn from scratch.. WHen I went THey had a technical session, Controlled donuts, Handbrake turns, Figure of 8's and a Corner to drift, THen hit the main track.

DO the technical session first :)
