Qm1 Paint

Hi,

Am new to this forum. Does anyone know if I can get QM1 or similar colour in Supercheap/ Autobahn or Repco?

I noticed Nissan there are many type of DIY spray can in whites...polar white, classic white...blah blah.

usually they have a book next to those touch up paint areas, they will list the manufacturer , car model and paint code.

goto repco and ask the guys working for a book....from memory it polar white but ask them to make sure

i bought mine from vg auto paints..

qm1 but from r34 gtt

I bought the polar white (QM1 according to the book) from repco. Did a respray on the rear pod. But the colour came out different!!!

Is whiter than the original car colour. Is it because the car white turned yellowish due to old paint?

More than likely this is due to the age of the paint, try a cut a polish to bring back the whiteness of your original paint.

but remember that it was out of a spray can

i went to autobarn and got them to mix up some QM1 paint for me. got it in a spray can and it matched perfectly

^^^ true dat im in the middle of a respray myself and all the autobarn paints are PPG
