wtf is it with people taking pictures of my car with their frikin mobile phones when they are behind me???? geeezzzzzzzz .......................

does ne one else have this trouble?

You wonder why people take photo's of your car when you have specifically done it up to look snazzy and be entered in comps.

I'll let you think about it.

ok i need the bottom lip of my front bar screwed back in and im thinking i could just as easily take it to my mechanic but he might not have the same screws that a bodykit shop would have

so heres the question where in a close radius to the CBD do i take it too to have a quick look see and screw a screw :(

    • It's more like on average the things I see a lot of things going wrong. Yes, usually the people who reach out are the ones who are having problems but on average it feels like mechanics and tuners here aren't really competent. I swing between thinking my standards are just way too high and wondering whether people really are just this dumb. I just had the strangest 10+ reply argument on a Facebook group over someone insisting that the factory R34 GTT boost control solenoid reduces boost pressure to 5 psi when it's on and raises boost pressure to 7 psi when it's off despite showing the exact plumbing in the factory service manual and the solenoid behavior detailed in the FSM.
    • I steam cleaned my near new set of volk gtc wheels 14 years ago and farrkkked them lol. The clear coat cracked like spider webbing in several areas. Lesson learnt don't do that. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

    • Yeah, my moulds and seals are 32 years old now. I think I will continue to not use a pressure washer on it.
    • I hear the old "I'd never use a pressure washer on my motorbike" BS in the dirtbike community too.ย  The only people that have had a problem from using a pressure washer on anything are the people that aren't using them properly.ย  If you hold the wand any more than 45 cms away from pretty muchย anything (radiators, wiring connectors, paint, etc) you aren't going to cause any damage.ย  We've had detailers wreck moulds and seals on cars at work before and the only reason why is they held the pressure washer too close and on the one spot for too long.ย  If you have 5% more brain power than a detailer then you know not to not do that and you'll never have a problem.
