The closest we will have will be the 1 hour race at AIR with the Pirelli Grand Turismo Championship in July. You could always contact the AMRC to see if they are interested in having a display there

I hope you dont have it hooked up when driving on the street as the fines are huge if you get caught

and they may even confiscate your car for good under the hoon laws.

LOL - nice comment on a car forum LOL

How many of our cars couldnt be defected? Almost any modifiation will get you a defect, and if your mods dont get you to regency the police officer may send you there for the factory blowoff valve.

I like someone who is prepared to go a differenty path, why should we all be the same?

I agree that without a turbo a 2.5L NA car will never be that fast, but we are limited in power with out tiny 2.5/2.6L turbos too. We would all have a lot more power with turbo'd V10 5L motors etc.

I love my line but at the end of the day there are lots of cars that are faster; lots that handel better; many look better or turn more heads; but they aren't mine, YET. :D

Don't take offense it was only my opinion which is based on practicality. :(

Practicality is where I am coming from. NOS is really only practical at the drags. Track days you will use way too much of the stuff. On the street it attracts huge fines. Who really cares about the defects as they can be sorted, huge fines cannot. :S

In my eyes there are the sheep that follow the wanting to be unique way and there sheep that follow the tried and proven way. Which one returns the most practical usable fun; often the tried and proven way.

Much like those who stick with the rb20 for street use. Its good up to a point but really not much further.

I guess you have to ask your self are you doing NOS to be a poser or doing NOS because you really do want more straight line performance.

In saying that a nice little 200hp nos kit would be quite nice on an NA on the street; just don't get caught. Which is too easily done with modifications that can be seen easily.

With regards to mysetup. I never had the I want to be unique thoughts as I've always viewed them as being slightly poser thoughts my thoughts were I want maximum all round performance. I want to a larger turbo to spool like a stock rb25det turbo and make a solid 100rwkw more.

RB30det + gt30r was the answer so I winged it a little and its turned out impressive. At the time yes it was unique as there was only 1 other I knew of in SA. Now there's a growing population of r32's with rb30's lurking in them.

If it gets defected.. in goes the rb20det; clear defect then umm it all gets tidied up again. :D

see a 200 hp nos jets would blow up my engine.

im not trying to be a poser at all. like i said dyno and track use only, im not one of those dick heads who thinks its cool to do a burnout at the lights etc, do you see me purging at the lights? no. and like i said before i am not using it on the street, get it into your head im not that much of a retard.

but why should i be like every one else who has a turbo'ed car? honestly what ever happened to uniqueness??? i dont want to be like every else.

and im sure if i ever take on a stock GTT i would be able to keep up i too have a power fc. i have many plans for my car, and none of them include a turbo.

and what about mallala?

:D

Meh, thats just a harmless poke (funny though) and suited the post, I am sure no one will be cutting themselves over it. If they are they should harden up. :D

There is usually a reason that a way is done the most. Don't make it hard on yourself JUST to be different.
