Mike - no you are not being paranoid - get that GTR locked up in a garage if you can. Seems to me they were sussing out your car for potential theft, so lock her up!

Yeah its got a really good alarm the led is bright enough to light up the entire interior ya can see it flashing away from inside the house, hopefully that kinda warned em against thouchin my car. she is alway's locked away at night and my bedroom window is right next to it.

He could be cruising around, ends up at a dead end, sees a nice fellow Skyline car and checks it out, drives back off? or his just looking for some spare parts haha

Nah he wasn't coming up my street by accident, you would only come up my street if you lived there cause its outta the way.

Im just hoping im parranoid cause the last thing we need is people in skylines stealing skylines... :D

well last night i got done for driving in a bus lane $180 fine

scratched my car on my sons dads fence

and my grandpa is in heart failure

so im having a great week

:) someone needs a big jenkie hug! get damo in on it too :D

if there is anything i can do to help sing out!

Went to Northbridge on thursday night, ended up getting back at 5:30 yesterday morning LOL, didnt get to bed until like 11:30 last night, so Id been awake from 5am thursday morning until then. By christ those boys can drink. Drank more in the last week than I have in the last 6 months ROFL./ :)

Im f**ked LOL/.

Was soooo pissed off though...... they dont have FUIC, nor do they have coopers pale. the main 2 reasons I dont want to go back :P:P:D

I just got back from perth today, (there for a week) and spent plenty of time in Northbridge.

Great place, lots of pubs and food. (Most had Coopers Pale)

Not many imports, most seem to drive Lancers.

oh, and a small note

the process is started, my trailer is about to be started :). Once its built, my mate has said he will be happy to build more (and to your specs). Designs are ADR approved, so will be easy to get passed through a regency inspection to gain registration as well

i'll have my trailer by the time shepparton comes round (give or take a week or two prior to having to go)

I would't mind having a look at that when its finished Matty, as i use to build custom made trailers for 5 years, oh and you dont need to take it to regency to get rego, just need to take it to a registerd trailer manufacture for a quick visual inspection to get it rego'd

ah sweet as, i'll give me mate a ring and let him know. Anyone is free to have a look at it, theres going to be plenty of options for people who want them (extras especially)

basically going to have a 2.8t rated trailer (with electric brakes) on road for just under the 3k mark (as a rough guess atm)

niiice

got all the LED lights sorted for mine, hopefully goin to be reppin some stock mags of a nissan variety (had a hopeful on a set of R34 NA stockies, as well as a couple of sets of S14/R33 wheels). I cant wait :)

no more having to pay 80 bucks a day for trailer hire. no more needing servicing ramps to back the ute up onto

the only problem with some mags, is fitting them on the hubs, you may need to enlarge the centre hole of the rims to fit on the hub, i have had to do it quite a few times myself, and before you buy mags make sure you can get hubs to suit the stud pattern, as there are limited stud patterns available, but skyline studs are the same as ford so you wont have a problem with those.

also i have a set of stock R32 mags laying around if you want to make an offer?

    • Damn it, I was at work last night, and stayed in a room there during the storm with the car outside, but undercover, I just went downstairs and well....there was a large steel locker that has come from some place last night, it wasn't anywhere I could see yesterday, and yeap, it landed on the fraking car....of course it did..... LOL So, I'll need to take it back for paint and panel, luckily it was only the boot that took the hit, so it could have been worse Serves me right for staying at work and getting on the cans with some of the boys
    • Yeah, really happy with how it all turned out As for aftermarket lip, nah, I'm not really a fan for practically reasons on a street car that gets driven everywhere  I did have the full lower kit on my 2015 STI, but found the front lip scrapped alot, even at stock 4x4ish ride height As the NC sits now, with the lowest point of the car at 110mm, so just legal, some steep driveways and steep speed humps will still "just" scrap those little plastic OEM air dam thingies on the undertray just before the front wheels
    • Here's one I help build and tuned a decade ago, Garrett  GTX3071R Gen 1, T3 twin scroll 0.83 rear housing. Went from larger 272 cams down to smaller Tomei Poncams to help with the low end. S13 non VCT motor. Car was purpose built for the track, hence low down was the focus. Note the actual dyno chart shows lower boost, however the EBC and boost gauge showed 1.9Bar (Ignore the torque, I was young and didn't know how to set derived torque)
    • I’m doing some side developments on SR20det S13 engines, its one my hobby cars used it to compare flow capacity of some smaller size wheels. SR20det is one of another JDM legendary engines I'm sure there are plenty of SR enthusiasts on this forum, I will share results some common turbo configurations here. a quick run down of what the car is: Wide body 180sx Type X with black top engine (blue). It has: Stock bottom end Haltech 1500 ECU 5-0 motorsports trigger kit Kelford SR20DET Beehive Spring with Titanium Retainers Kelford Cams SR20DET S13 188-B 268/272 Cams G25-660 Turbocharger in T2 .64 rear housing internally gated ARP Head studs MLS head gasket 1000CC ID injectors Walbro 450L Fuel pump Front mount cooler kit JJR’s 3 inches turbo back exhaust (its too short for the 180sx it had to be extended) Pump 98 fuel Hub Dyno tune So far made 270rwkws at 22psi full boost by 4500RPM. Engine is very knock limited hence a pretty bad looking top end. From previous experiences it seems like SR20dets are happier with bigger size turbine, some thing like a GT30 would make way better top end, but on same time response is lost. It won't be a problem with S15 VCT engines. I'll be testing alternative turbine housing, turbine wheel and possibly dump pipe options for extra flow to resolve the problem and of course E85 would resolve all the issues.
    • Awesome writeup and details. Thanks for sharing the story so far. I can relate to parts of it with my previous car and some of the issues I had to deal with.
