i went for a hills run last night in the 31 with the roads very slippery.....was much fun. Had to bed in the bottom end bearings so yea..took it for a strap.

Dam straight Damo would rather do SAU them heroin gts4 are 4.1 because they share the same parts from the gtr i think r32 gtst is 4.3 because of the lack of torque from the rb20

On an unrelated matter I don't have to worry about rego for the next 12 months :) Time to start saving for that manual conversion!

There were a couple in the for sale thread for $850 then I'd need to organise the installation.

Edit: I might also need to get a new clutch for it depending on the condition.

Cam gears for the rb20: ISC have them going for $199 plus delivery, or i could go hks or other brands.

Is it worth spending more to get the name brand or have ppl have good experiences with the ISC 1's???

Finally SA registered my GTR today! HESLO plates back on and ready for action :banana:

sometimes it can be cheaper to find all your parts of wrecked cars then take them all to the fitter of choice

i have a HD clutch i haven't used yet of my last GB i will run another HD clutch GB one of these days too but im running an O2 sensor group buy also so until that is finished that is enough for one plate :D

I'd rather just get everything in one bundle but thanks anyway. :google:

      I can be grumpy!  After owning one of the first GTRs in the country, I was bitten by the nostalgia bug and started the hunt for a GTR again.  While I could have bought a car locally, I wanted to experience the search for a car in Japan and bidding at auction.  The above videos document my experience to date and hope forum members find them interesting and informative.  I was after a low mileage, completely stock car in the launch colour and am pretty stoked with what I got!

      Sounds like AFM or TPS issue. What are the voltages at the TPS like? Have you done any diagnostics other than slapping parts at it?

      All Christian was saying is that if your OP here was to dump youtube content to increase views and adsense revenue, then we take a dim view to being used like that. It's just that the apparent mode of operation matches the mode described by Christian and used by others in just the recent past. If you're hanging around and contributing, then no foul. You can be a grumpy old man with the rest of us. It may well be better suited to the importing section - but that's for you an Christian to think about (more than me to think about, anyway).
