is it hard to remove the injectors and resistor pack?

If they're anything like an SR then nah, I swapped mine over pretty easy (save for destroying the old ones  those O rings had a damn good seal on them :D)

Norman: Is that the one with all the hairpins that comes out near the wreckers on the corner?

yeah just watch out with the injectors hey, mine were all brittle and didn't take kindly to being manhandled with a pair of pliers  Pop the seal on the O ring first and you should be right.

ECU I doubt it, as the resistance would probably be different (this being the only reason you'd put a Z32 meter on a 20 as they already have 80mm meters if I remember correctly :D)

Yeah mate tomorrow is all go, about 4:15 as previously noted. You should be able to just wait near the boom gates if I'm not there but I'll endevour to be earlier so you don't have to wait around.

Thats weird about the AFM, I was under the impression they flowed well and only really need changing when going for big power as the tuning resolution is a better with a Z32 item. Mine's only running about 180@wheels anyway, and I need to get the sus/chassis sorted before I need anymore

^ those unfortunately I do not have. I reckon a hardware store would have the required bolts though.

And while we're linking random youtube vids, I fking love this thing, such an angry sounding car

hmmm shit I'm hungry, why can't there be 24 hr delis where I can go get a pasty with sauce or some chips and gravy at like 1am

Vilis is one option but I'm not keen on driving 45 minutes to go there :D

    • I love the early SL500's, they look sleek Give it a good service, throw on a exhaust, and roll like a boss I'd get a nice old SL500 before a 25GT
    • Ooohhh I see. I guess that makes sense also. Hey also just a like opinion based question, I've been recently considering getting a SL500 R230 bc my younger sister wants me to drive one (she rlly wants me to flex on her high schooler friends lmfao). However to be honest ive been kind of against the idea is the SL500 for one reason - not very fuel efficient. I understand I probably have the funds to be able to drive this car daily but it kind of pains me that id still have to spend more money on gas compared to like a 25GT or smth. Idk if I should get an SL500 or whether to js go all in on the JDM lifestyle. If I do buy an SL500 I'll probably modify it to a minor degree. (idk slap a turbo/supercharger and a ecu revamp).
    • The other reason why I say this is because if you lose the motivation to mess with this stuff, at least if you can get the car back together and fixed up better than it came to you usually you can sell it for more than you paid. Skylines in that regard it's pretty rare for anyone to actually come out ahead.
    • Yeah I get the appeal of trying to fix up a broken car and seeing it run once again. Honestly might follow that advice since I know someone who has a broken down m328i and isn't bothered to fix it lol. Its probably a good idea to get a slighter newer car such as like a 400r since my parents are worried ill crash and die lmao (I probably won't but hey I understand why)
    • Some people love to enjoy the car, and that's the love. Others prefer being covered in dirt, oil, grease, sweat, and cuts and scratches instead of getting to drive the car. 😛
