Saw that Nene, is it that bad? Will he ever walk again?

I watched it on this link: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id...099&rss=yes

Seems the media is blowing it out of proportion. It was during practice for an event, not at an event itself. From the footage I see, he didn't "crash" the truck, nor would I call it a hard landing. :) Broken back my arse. Looks like his back just went out from the not-so-hard landing due to a previous injury to his back I suspect?

Another celebrity crying like a baby? Suck it up princess, I've crashed worse from higher drops on my pitbike :)

either way Roo he hurt his back, he's a celebrity and he's gonna get plastered all over tv weather he likes it or not.

I'm sure if you f**ked up your back, weather it be due to a previous injury or not, you'd be in a fair bit of pain and need some kind of medical attention. Sometimes it doesn't matter How fast your goin. or how high you fall.. injuries can still be bad.

I'm just criticising the way it was advertised.

Monster truck crash = a bumpy ride

Broken back = spinal injury

I fractured my cheek bone, crushed 3 fingers, and sliced my face when i went into a barbed wire fence.

Yeah well you know my story. I've crashed at the race track at high speeds and walked away without a scratch ... then I crash my bike on the road at 50kph and I break my shoulder ;) Go figure!

both wrists, most of my fingers, left thumb, right hand, left forearm 3 times, right forearm once, cracked 2 ribs (one in a mosh pit), left leg a handful of times, left ankle 3 times, right ankle twice, left foot twice (once in a pit), oh yeah, and broken a few toes too.

I've only ever had 2 nasty spills and both on bikes that required a couple of weeks in RAH. The worst of the 2 stacks was on my mates wet back lawn at approx 15kph......nearly lost my right leg from 10cm above the ankle..........like you said Roo, go figure! ;)

Great colour with a fantastic velour interior. Very quiet and fast car (<6s 0-100), but can also be very economical for performance (long-term average consumption 11/100 km) I imported it five years ago, and it was well looked after. It has a full service history and a balance of ACT rego. There are no finance or PPSR issues with the car. Has all the features you'd expect from a luxury car. ABS brakes Stability control Traction control Dual-zone climate control Power and memory front seats and steering column Power passenger ottoman Smart key access Push button start 2 parking cameras Steering wheel audio controls Adaptive radar cruise control AFS aiming headlights Xenon HID headlights Security system Original Nissan remote start system Two original keys Dual-channel dashcam Blackvue 750 with PowerMagicPro for battery-aware parking recording Regularly serviced with a lot of major items done: Full new original Nissan suspension shocks throughout Performance CSF radiator Recent tyres, less than 10k on them New drive belt New bonnet struts Brakes recently done The car comes with a fully converted AV system with Australian GPS maps, DVD, and radio ($2k job).
