CORRECT

read again with your brain engaged Kietz.........you would possibly feel embarrassed on a social event if we crossed paths

everyone know what you meant and that is all im going bed.!!!!!!!

I think you interpreted that the wrong way, because I know what Pete meant. Few people understand meaning of true respect.

People are different in nature when their on the internet. They have a false sense of security thinking there are no consequences to trouble caused on forums. Then when they finally meet the individual in person for the first time, they can be awkward not knowing how to react because of the previous trouble they caused. They feel vulnerable. That ... or they're due for a flogging :ermm:

Thats why I can't be arsed talking to certain members. Sometimes the message is not taken the right way (no face-to-face conversation), but other times the motives are quite clear and provoking. When the debate goes too far and the name calling begins I use the "ignore" button or just stop going back to that particular thread. Because I know they're keyboard warriors and nothing more. I know I will never meet them in person, because without their keyboard in front of them, they feel vulnerable.

I know I'm no saint, having added fuel to some fires in the past ... but I have my reasons ... legitimate reasons. In most cases, I've shed blood, sweat and tears over it ... and lost some close friends ... so I think I'm entitled to my reasons. Most bullshit spoken on SAU has no reason behind it, but purely for the sake of home entertainment and ego boosting.

I've picked myself up a daily! Cya later public transport!

$250 for a 1981 Toyota Corona - 168,000km, runs sweet, gear changes perfect, drives well, super soft suspension, straight clean body with only slight paint fade on the bootlid, 2 months rego, clean neat interior with only slight cracks on the dash, about $20 in change was in the center console.

Already clocked a couple hundred Ks on it and made good use out of it - going shops/beach without needing to give a second thought about the car etc :ermm:

sorry but taking e-beef into real world is just plain sad, its called take a deep breathe and grow up, at the end of the day this is just all words in a virtual world, if your small enoough to make real life threats because of what someone said on a forum you have small man syndrome and are just tryna be a hero, some people just take themselves and everything else way too seriously

accepted Mitch, thanks.

Home entertainment is fine IMO; ego boosting is just a plain annoyance.

    • I believe there was a similar one posted by @duggyphresh. They were re-routing their battery positive cable in the way I am also trying to achieve. Sorry, I’m new to this forum, so was a bit late to the party by a few months and so reignited the old thread, as I wanted to know how they got on with doing it.
    • Wasn't there a thread on this very subject just a few weeks ago?
    • Hi all! Looking to relocate the battery to the trunk of an R34 GTT. I want to do it using as many stock GTR components as I can (including the harness protectors from the 34 GTR that run underneath along the chassis to the engine bay). So far I’ve purchased the battery tray from a 33 GTR, as the captive weld nuts are already there just asking to be used. There is also the slight issue of now having to relocate the ABS/TC/Fuel Pump Control ECU, which in GTT’s sits right above where the battery will then sit on the tray. Has anyone already achieved this, and if you have any pics that you wouldn’t mind sharing? It would be great to see how others have done it and where you put them, as there are countless holes in the parcel shelf panel to potentially use. Just trying to get some ideas bounced around, and to help uncover any potential problems I may encounter by  my choice of location. TIA for any help!
    • Brand was ard.   I also threw a brand new battery at it and beefed up the wire from the alternator to battery and added an extra earthing point from the battery
