And read what a comment was for this story:

I wonder how many high speed incidents there are in the immediate days and weeks after the Clipsal 500 has been in Adelaide. This must cost the state dearly in business disruption within Adelaide, does it also have a cost in lives?

What kind of bullshit is that? Blaming Clipsal 500 for a bunch of robbers trying to out-run the police?!

They were crims ... living dangerously, and the died by the sword.

There is no front end on that car now! Reckon the engine block killed them. :(

I feel sorry for the cop. Sooner or later some members of the public will criticise him for not preventing their deaths :(

They're not kids being kids though. Those guys in the article are just plain deadbeats. Driving an un-registered car, running from the cops, history of criminal activities, currently on bail, something about boot filled with stolen goods and looking suss.

Fully hektic Underbelly yo!

This is a tragic waste of life, but we need to ask why do young kids do this? When I was young I did stupid things in cars, got caught, paid the fine and became a better driver. Now, getting caught is too tough so higher risks are taken to NOT get caught, stupid things done later at night, done in more remote areas that are more dangerous etc. Remember Kids will be Kids, they will experiment. I say lets not stop kids experimenting, let provide them a safer way to experiment, provide a controlled manner in which they can experiment. Driving at 50 everyday only creates dumb useless drivers, learning how to control a car provides safer drivers, make it mandatory for kids to do some evasive driving classes, teach them how to drive faster, give them a place to do a burnout. I am sick of all this crap about lowering speed limits, increasing the fines. This just increases the risks some kids will take. Everyday we drive a car its a risk, we need to lower the risk, we need to save lives and we need to do it in a radical way. People comment about kids not understanding what they are doing and that they must "wake up" - don't you remember when you were a kid, when did you wake up? When were enlightened that you were not invincible? When did you realise that you are so important to your family - probably not until you got your own kids? I am saying lets provide better training and reduce the severity of the punishment, lets reduce the risk these kids have to take to experiment, the higher the risk the higher the loss and that is what we are seeing.

It's a damn shame this is the view of the minority. If more heads thought like this things might actually get done for the better of the entire community, instead of just the retirement section.

IMO it has nothing to do with road conditions/speed limits or the car they were driving. They were fleeing from the police and it wouldn't have mattered, I don't know how they turned it into a Turbo/V8/Clipsal 500 discussion.....

I just bought a can of 'Deep Spring Natural Mineral Water with Orange, Lemon and Lime'

And it tastes like licking a lemon rind that's fallen off a dead lemon tree into a large pile of soil.

Interesting description right there.... I'm trying to imagine!!!
