Dave if you need a hand putting the turbo back on give me a yell and I will come help too. If you can give me a day or 2 notice I can book my work around it.

FYI those water lines are an absolute bitch to get back on - the inside one particularly. Fun, fun, fun.

Mmmmmmmmmmm titanium .... I bet the retail on that bad boy is well the wrong side of $5k

i went for a hills run last night in the 31 with the roads very slippery.....was much fun. Had to bed in the bottom end bearings so yea..took it for a strap.

Dam straight Damo would rather do SAU them heroin gts4 are 4.1 because they share the same parts from the gtr i think r32 gtst is 4.3 because of the lack of torque from the rb20

yeah, water lines were the biggest pains in my ass... gonna get dad to see if he can find some suitable banjos, an fittings, and braided lines at work to replace them.

dunno been meaning to ring up nisswrek and find out how much they charge then charge less and no lube needed :D

Hello fellow Skyline owners. Need a bit of advice if possible.

Have found an r33 im looking into purchasing and am having an inspection done on monday. Just went through the ezy reg website to check the car was clear of finance and not written off etc. The person selling it says there is 106 k's on the odometer and when i got the reply back through ezy reg, it showed an odometer result of 186k's. Would ezy reg's reading be more accurate the guy selling the car? Should i go through with the inspection or just pass this one up and wait for the next?

how did you check thorugh the ezy reg website did you have a vin number or somthing

Yeah i asked the seller for the,

plate number

engine number

and vin

Ezy reg charged $9 for the finance fee

and $15 for the damage write off check

have it thoroughly checked out. afr's, compression, leak down, and all the obvious stuff like previous crash damage, basically have whoever's doing it go over it with a fine tooth comb, if its healthy and drives right, the mileage shouldnt really matter, but if it doesnt feel right to you, walk.

      You've given zero info about your setup. Step 1: make sure all the standard equipment are working as they should. If they're not, go investigate why. Step 2: Make sure all your wiring is done properly. Know which RB20 you have, most likely "silvertop" a.k.a R32/A31 anything after 1989. Step 3: make sure your ECU is tuned properly. Standard will barely run in this situation.

      I think... in the US, Silvermax is the equivalent of BC Racing, i.e. cheap Taiwanese built suspension that gets turned for "local" conditions. Back in the day in Australia, you could get MCA street for about $1300 and they were awesome. Don't know about now... In saying that, my real world TEIN experience: I got some street basis z for my old Liberty (BR9), and they were awesome ($800-odd delivered from demon-tweeks in the UK). so Don't discount TEIN

      100% this. Long ago, I had a guy from the R31 club who set my BNR32 up (adjustable arms all round). He did an awesome job, was an after-work kinda thing where I had to bring a slab of beer. My car never drove better, and I stupidly got a random tyre shop to check the toe angles when I changed tyres, and they ruined the alignment. tl:dr- it takes a lot of skill to set up your car lowered from factory properly, and is worth paying the $200+ it takes.
