TALBO
Oh god....how horrible do those feelhad to put it in for regency and oh god was happy to change it next day Doesn't feel horrible at all. I haven't driven a skyline with aftermarket suspension parts so to me it's actually nice after coming from a car that had suspension hard enough to crack the chassis which is one of the reasons I fairly reluctant to lower this car..... just don't want to go back to a harsh dumpy ride. RubyRS4
I've asked this elsewhere ...but I'll ask here too ... My tiptronic box has failed (solenoids) and I'm carrying out my manual conversion earlier than planned, so haven't quite done my homework. Does a GTR manual box or GTS4 box bolt straight into the Stagea? No mods to tailshaft or mounts? I'm aware of the other things required, like: drill out plate for shift stick, change over pedal box, need clutch kit, change over center console, change over handbrake etc. But are the boxes the same length and all? Anyone? ... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/188416-the-sa-wasteland/page/1446/#findComment-4646732 Share on other sites

Nightcrawler
hey Pete, got your message but didn't have time to call you back. Sucks you couldn't come to Kadina - bloody weak excuse though! You missed out on a huge one bud - was an absolutely blast, despite the weather. I have stock suspension in the 32 aswell, but its new stock suspension (previous owner did it). It feels fairly stable on the road, but I have been told by people behind me it suffers from a bit of body roll. And no doubt it would feel alot better with something decent in there. So, are coilovers actually defectable? - bit confused on that one. Good luck with the manual conversion Ruby! Damo_R34
anything with a height adjustment is defectable Dion. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/188416-the-sa-wasteland/page/1446/#findComment-4646916 Share on other sites
TALBO
Apparently any adjustable coilover is defectable. I'm thinking I might do a SK type setup with Bilsteins at some point in the future with 4Kg springs, just to lower it around 25mm. bezender
hows this. i paid for a fuel pressure regulator on ebay, the seller lives in henley beach so i initially requested to pick up the item. i got no response, so i thought fk it, ill pay the $15!!!!!! postage just so i can have it in my hand. i waited 2 weeks and the item did not appear, i messaged the seller about it. all i got was gaurded responses like, i definitely posted it and the seller was a little rude in each and ever message. For the following week i intermittantly dropped into both of my local post offices, but they had no records of recieving the package. i messaged the seller again asking for the details from the aus post reciept, so i could lodge a service complaint with aus post, but got no response for a week and a half, so i thouhg fk it, my $$$ is gone so i left negative feedback, along the lines of OK communication, however item not recived. the seller had the nerve to ask me to revise my feedback (within 10 min of me posting it! ). i have just written this to the seller... you guys reckon its ok to send? ** DEAR SELLER**, im curious about the comment you left on my feedback "the item was definitely posted +post office has confirmed postage". you never confrimed that for me, or gave me the postage details from your reciept for me to follow it up. It amused me that i was waiting for days for a response to a message requesting postal details, but your reply to my feedback was almost instantaneous. I feel the negative feedback is valid due to your reluctance to directly assist me with the information that you have. on a side note, using the postage calculator on the aus post website http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/aus_parcel.asp when im am generous with dimensions and weight (20cm square, and up to 1kg) standard postage from 5022 to 5048 is $7.20 not the $15 charged, this could have all been avoided if you would have allowed me to pick the item up as per my first message to you after winning the auction. Please let me know why you wish me to revise the feedback. They legit if you get them welded at a legal height so they cant move up and down, and i think they may need to get engineered with that. DamageInc
They legit if you get them welded at a legal height so they cant move up and down, and i think they may need to get engineered with that. you dont need to get them welded at legal height. get them engineered with your car and then they are legal and dont need to be welded, adjust the height accordingly . if you get done for too low , raise the coilovers to legal height , go to regency , present engineers report and your fine. my mate has his r33 engineered with coilovers. only time they need to be welded is if you go through regency and get caught with coilovers in Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/188416-the-sa-wasteland/page/1446/#findComment-4647382 Share on other sites
