Rant time:

I'm looking for a spare engine/gearbox for my RS250 racebike. I answer an ad one guy has for an engine/box for $500. I tell him I'm real keen and I'll be in VIC in the next few weeks to pick it up. Next reply I get, he's saying sorry totalled receipts for work done and now wants $500 more than what he quoted. I tell him I'm not interested anymore and now he's having a go at me for wasting his time! Wasting his time???

Ready to just say I'll take it, go over there in the next few weeks and then just hand over the cash for the original price! Whatever happens after happens ... but I'll give him a demonstration of wasting time.
