Has anyone had any experience sending wheels interstate? I've got no idea

I haven't sent wheels interstate but mine came from interstate via courier and they had heavy duty cardboard on the front and back of the wheels and then wrapped in a substantial amount of black pallet wrap. They had tyres on them though too.... but they arrived safe n sound!

Ive also had wheels delivered via courier from interstate, mine were bubble wrapped inside the original boxes. The boxes were labelled 1 of 4, 2 of 4 etc etc from memory.

What? This is new?

This has been going on for as long as I can remember. Only back in my day, it was black only, and it was the size of the band that determined the 'penalty'.

But won't somebody please .. think of the CHILDREN.

*eyeroll*

.. it's sensationalist reporting and crazies coming out of the woodwork purporting this is new and 'omg how terrible is this' that is wrong with society these days. Stab 'em all.

I'm going to start my own business. Importing and retail for cotton wool ... the demand will be high in the near future as we wrap ourselves up in it again and again. I'll be rich!

:D

Yay, Dropped my car off at Horsepower In A Box today, getting Belts, seals, water pump replaced. Oil and filters as well, having a GT3076R, Haltech E11v2, Nismo 740cc injectors, NGK Irdium plugs, Superspark Coils and a Hi Flow cat installed and tuned this week. Expecting about 250-280rwkw, shall post up videos of the power runs if and when i get them, as well as dyno sheets when its done.

    • How old is the battery, it's more likely your battery is on its way out.
    • I reckon you'd get 90% off. My washer doesn't get between spokes very well. Haha! I love my Gerni!  Argh! Steam cleaning has its place for sure.
    • Hey all, I did a voltage test with the car (video attached) not running for 3 days. And here is some interesting stuff: - Battery voltage is 12v (I had the key in the ON position) - Drops to 9.76v while cranking then quickly goes up to 14.5v - You will notice there was a sorta slow start but not as slow as it usually is. - Idle surprisingly was better at just over 1,000rpm instead of 1,100 rpm. - I turned on the A/C, radio and headlights in the video and the voltage remains the same - I haven't cleaned the grounding wires on the chassis yet, that's next. - Battery drops to 12.6v when I turn off the car and wait a bit Seems like I might have a parasitic draw? I do have an immobiliser system which does drain the battery more of course but was wondering if there is anything else I should be looking at fixing? Does the ground wires on the chassis have anything to do with the low 12v?        SAU.avi
    • My lord that is some low oil pressure as minimum in the manual! I guess the big part will be seeing how it changes as the engine gets more spirited use.
    • Turbotapin   so I am about to be mounting mine up been waiting for the body to get finish at paint. I had a question. I was told our Speedo sensor it originally in the transmission but the cd009 is in the diff on the z. How did you get around this?
