i can too, involves the sale of the 34 however. just couldn't part with her if i tried.

id be able to keep the 14, and be mostly if not all debt free. its very tempting.

ill probably put a couple grand straight onto the loan, and just enjoy the rest.

and by enjoy i mean, new seat, coils, good rubber, dump pipe, front pipe, cooler, ebc, retune, and track day.

im confused mitch? wernt you saying that ur motor was dead and needed a basic rebuild?
no ,i never said it was dead , turns out the battery in the car didnt have enough power to turn the motor over .

started it up yesterday , was a loud noise , disconnected power steering pump and there was a small knocking noise in cylinder 6

car idles fine and revs up fine , just could do with some minor work .

i beg to differ how does a spun bearing now become just a slight knock in #6

As you might know , my rb26 has spun a bearing.

i have replacement parts to fix it but my only problem is getting the engine out of the car and doing it myself.

seeing as im really low on cash i was wondering if anyone could lend a helping hand to help me rebuild the motor.

ill happily pay you for your services etc but my main priority is getting my car back on the road as i dont have a daily.

any help will be greatly appreciated !

    • I need help dealing with an engineer who is massively overcharging me for an engineering report on my modified, written-off Jeep to get it roadworthy. šŸ”¹ Initially, he quoted me $3,500 - $4,500. šŸ”¹ First invoice: $5,315 (already above the quote). šŸ”¹ Second invoice: $1,375. šŸ”¹ Now, he has sent another invoice for $3,100! This is way more than double what I was originally quoted. I feel like Iā€™m being ripped off. Has anyone dealt with something like this before? What can I do? Any advice on how to report him or fight these unfair charges? Would really appreciate any guidance! šŸ™ Am in Adelaide.
